Return Policy

Tunes:

Tunes are non-refundable once your file has been sent out. Unused tunes are eligible for return and refund within 30 days. The buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. All returns are subject to a restocking fee. 

ALL SALES apply to remote tuning and online orders only. Dyno tunes will not be eligible for sale or discounted orders.

All revisions must be requested within 6 months of the purchase date. All requests after 6 months are treated as a new tune. 

Parts:

Unopened items in new condition that are returned within 30 days will receive a refund or exchange. Items that have been opened and damaged may be denied a refund or exchange. If it has been longer than 30 days we may or may not accept returns. All returns are subject to restock fee. The buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. 

* Spark Plugs and Injectors are Non-Refundable once shipped. *

Shipping Policy

ALL orders must be placed with matching shipping and billing addresses. All other orders will be cancelled and refunded upon review. Orders marked as fraudulent on our end will also be cancelled, and a team member will reach out with you to help you resolve the issue.

What is the burble tune?

Burble is a noise created when decelerating, the car backfires and pops. It is not sold separately it is a free addition with our performance tunes. You must be catless for burble. When ordering just find your vehicle tune and in the box request to add burble. 

 

How long until i receive a tune?

You must read out the ECU once you receive your package using the supplied cable and software and email us the stock ECU file. Once we receive your stock ECU information file it takes 2-3 business days to send your tune file back.  

 

Do I need a tablet?

You do not need a tablet, it can be any Windows Device including a laptop. We have included an amazon link below for a tablet that customers have used in the past. 

 

Can i sell my supercharger/turbo tune package* to my friend?

Yes you can. You would have to sell them the full kit including Tune(Chip/OBD2 Cable), MAF, Injectors. There is a fee of $700 to transfer tuning support to the new owner.  There are additional fees if switching OBD1 to OBD2. 

*Only supercharger/turbo tune packages, all other tunes are not to be sold used. 

Is there a warranty?

 

We offer a lifetime warranty on all parts. There is no warranty on tuning. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser. 

I sold my car, can the new owner request tune files? 

No, tunes are linked to the customer if the new owner wants tune support they would need to purchase the tune again. 

 

Will my car pass emissions?

• RK-Tunes creates performance parts and tunes for competition use only. 
• If you remove any emissions parts expect your car to fail inspection / emissions testing. Do not ask us to bypass these systems.
• RK-Tunes hereby disclaims any liability resulting from the failure to use these parts in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws. The buyers takes full responsibility of the use of these products on their vehicles which may or may not conform to all applicable laws and regulations for on road or highway use.
• The buyer acknowledges that RK-Tunes has made him or her aware that these products are intended for off road or race track use, only.
• The buyer absolves RK-Tunes from all responsibility in ensuring that their vehicle is compliant with all State, Federal, Province, Local ordinances and emissions.
