The M178 is the twin turbo "hot V" V8 engine offered specifically for the AMG GT. It varies from its M177 counterpart, featuring twin scroll turbos, and an upgraded fuel system. Allowing it to be a more potent power plant. We are now offering remote ECU calibrations developed in-house on our AWD Dynojet. This tune is designed to add substantial wheel horsepower, while still keeping stock reliability and driveability! Remote tuning requires use of a Windows computer.
Key features:
- 70-90+ WHP gains
- 70-100+ FT/LBS of torque
- remapping of throttle tables for smooth, but improved throttle response
- top speed governor removed
- increase of boost pressure
- ignition timing optimization
**HP and torque gains will vary in between models, fuel quality/octane rating, and climate**
Tuning options:
Exhaust Burbles - Emits flame and backfire when lifting off throttle. Only suggested for catless exhaust systems.
rear o2 delete - will shut off codes related to rear o2s when running an aftermarket exhaust.
Octane selection - We will optimize your tune for either 91 or 93 octane, making sure you are running the right amount of timing and boost to avoid pre detonation.

- Magic Motorsport IXI personal flasher - This device will allow you to connect to your car, remote flash our calibration, and also provides datalogging so we can optimize your tune for your vehicle specifically.
